7.12. Coronary Arteries on the Posterior Aspect of the Heart

The Right and Left Coronary Arteries (Posterior Aspect)
On the posterior aspect of the heart, we can see the continuation of the right coronary artery:
- AV nodal artery, which supplies the AV node.
- Posterior interventricular branch*, which supplies the posterior aspect of both ventricular walls.
- First and second left obtuse marginal branches, which supply the wall of the left ventricle.
